Europiano Congress Córdoba 2027 is conceived as a meeting point for the European technical piano community — technicians, tuners, builders and other professionals connected to the craft. The main aim is to highlight innovation in the piano world, with talks and presentations focused on new ideas in design, technology, materials, construction and technical development. Alongside this, the congress will offer a space for professional exchange, practical knowledge and shared discussion around the future of the instrument.

Christian Bolduc
Technician/Bellyman
Piano technician and expert in soundboards and pinblocks, Christian is president of Pianos Bolduc and known for innovative rebuilding methods.
Lectures:

Paul Corbin
Piano Builder
Independent piano technician in Paris. ITEMM-trained (DMA piano), with experience at Stuart & Sons, Steingraeber & Söhne and Stephen Paulello, and ten years in C. Bechstein's technical department, where he worked on the DuoClave double piano. He now serves the Cité de la Musique and leading conservatoires.

Joachim Leonardy
Piano Builder
Master piano maker and one of today's foremost piano construction experts. Former head of quality assurance at Seiler, and since 2008 a driving force behind JAHN PIANOTEILE's product development. His workshops are sought after at piano-making events worldwide.

How does the scale affect the whole and why is loss of energy necessary?
Understanding a soundboard is the key to our profession and helps you to decide which tasks will have a positive impact, or which ones are pointless.
Stephen Paulello
Piano Builder / Concert Pianist
Concert pianist, researcher and piano maker. Trained at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and at C. Bechstein in Berlin, he founded SPCP in 2006, where he builds his own instruments and produces his own strings, pioneering hybrid stringing. His Opus 102 features parallel strings, 102 keys, a barless frame and a ribless soundboard. Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
Jaume Barmona
Technician / Restorer
Specialist in tuning, repair and full restoration, and the second generation of a family in the trade — he trained from 1976 in leading Barcelona workshops alongside his father, a finisher at Chassaigne Frères. He founded his own workshop in 1992, earned the European Technician Degree I in 2006 and the Maestro Artesano diploma in 2009, and served four years as president of ASETAP. He currently works with the Museu de la Música de Barcelona.
